The rest of my family likes to show food. I just thought I'd send a photo of the pizza I have to eat.

Coolum From Up Above

This is the Hyatt Golf Course. They host a PGA Tournament there every December. That big hill is Mount Coolum.

Those are the only two tall buildings in Coolum. Any new buildings can't be over 4 stories.
There are boardwalks and trails that take you from Coolum Beach to Yaroomba Beach. Those are two of the smaller beaches in Coolum. The one on the left has nudists sometimes....so I'm told. Another view of Mount Coolum. We're going to hike it someday.

Main Beach at Coolum.

The Race That Stops a Nation

They call it the race that stops the nation. The Melbourne Cup. I know it stopped work here. After all the bets were in I ended up $35 ahead. My horse come in 2nd. All the guys had to pile into my room to watch the race.

Sand Iguana

This little guy was running around my location. They call him a sand iguana. He's really quick and blends into the sand really well. The Aussies were telling me he'll climb up you and scratch the hell out of you if you scare him. Thank God for a zoom lense.

Coolum Carnival

This was Mark's school carnival. It is the only fundraiser they do...they raised $40,000 last year. We missed it last year because we were in New Zealand. Mark and his mates racing down the slide. He didn't win this time...so it didn't count...lol.

Roy was going to go on this ride with Mark but he chose to go on with his friends. Roy looked really sad leaving the line.
I guess it rains every Carnival and this year was no different. The storm passed really quick.

The Long Drive to Toowoomba

Roy with his Aussie hat. I made fun of it when he first got it so he only wears it to work. Who knew he was so sensitive. Those are the GlassHouse Mountains in the background.
My favourite trees...they are so pretty.

Cute Camel.
