Illawarra Tournament

Ryan's team came second in the tournament. They played good.

Marks team came first in their tournament. They got to meet some Waratahs. They are professional rugby players. Mark was in a big rush to get their autographs even though he didn't know who they were.

I did win that one. It's getting harder to beat him. I should be getting scared.

Kambah Swimming Hole

Margo had been here in Australia for 5 days and still hadn't been in the water. We tried to find a place to go swimming in Canberra but didn't have much luck...the first river didn't have a drop of water in it because of the drought. This swimming hole was a warm inviting brown. Ryan needed some assistance getting in.White sister. Brown sister.

Canberra...Australia's Capital

Easter Weekend we took a trip to Canberra, the Capital of Australia. We stopped at the Canadian Embassy and took a pic of the flag. A lot of the other Embassy's entrances were blocked with locked gates. We walked right up to Canada's Embassy; apparently they don't want us back...lol

Margo and me at Telstra Tower. That is part of Canberra in the background. "Umm, how do I get down from here??"

Fender Bender

I got hit from behind when I stopped at a yellow light...apparently Dad was right 'yellow means go faster' not slow down and stop. That is Mitsubishi on the back of our Holden Commodore. There was about $1500.00 damage done that the other person's insurance is paying for.

Brooks & Dunn

We went to a Brooks & Dunn Concert last night. Our seats were far, far away. In the next photo of Roy and I you can see the wall behind us, very last row. But we still enjoyed it. The arena is about an hour away so hopefully we'll get to see lots of concerts, we'll just know to get better seats next time.

Camden Rams

March 1st was the Battle of Codes...Rugby Union VS. League. They had spoon and egg race, 3 legged race, sack race and tug of war. It is a fundraiser the club does for LifeLine.
Mark was determined to cross the finish line even though it meant dragging his partner.
The bigger kids helped with the tug of war...Union won!
Mark and Ryan had their first games this weekend. Mark's team won one and lost one half match. Ryan's team only played one full match; they lost but Ryan had the "Hit of the Match". Can't say I actually saw it, but I heard it. I saw Ryan lining the guy up and my eyes closed.
