Nanny and Grampy's gifts to the kids

Christmas 2008

We got an Xbox for Christmas. Can anybody guess what game we got with it. Okay for the non technical minds out there it's Guitar Hero(rock band). Its a lot of fun. Thanks Santa.

We left Santa some milk and cookies out and this is what we found in the morning. I hear Rudolph isn't the only one with a red nose.

Our fancy couch set. I was really hoping for furniture for Christmas.

Tiny Little Hands

Mark's Grade 5 class sang Tiny Little Hands and Silent Night. We couldn't see him for the second song, he was behind a tall girl. I have to say it was well organized, it started on time and was just under an hour.

Disney In Tokyo

One thing we did do in Tokyo was go to Disneyland. If you enjoy long lines and big crowds go to the Disneyland in Tokyo. We went on 3 rides. 2 hour wait for each ride. They did have a parade(that I missed). Thats a long story in itself. Everybody else got to see it.

Close up they are all photos of people smiling. It was pretty cool.

Comments on Japan

I have a lot more to show but we are getting ready to get on the plane. I am unsure when we will have internet again. I hope not too long. A guy gets used to having it around. The internet connection in Japan is super fast. To load all the photos to the blog only take as long as the click. You can watch a U tube video with out it stopping. We also went to Disneyland Tokyo. It rained most the day. The hotel is the best one we ever stayed. The mirror was heated so you can shave after a shower. The toilets in Japan are amazing. The beer is really good (Terry you'll have to come to Japan to try the beer). Anyways, sayonara for now......Hopefully, Roy and Carol's excellent adventure will be continued in Canada............Cheers!!!!!!!!! :)
