I know I have been a little slow with the posts in the last little bit but to my defence I have done absolutly nothing in the last couple of weeks. Last week the rig was shut down due to rain. They flew me and a hand in and a couple of guys went out. I know it doesn't look wet were we are right now but some roads are closed to us. We are running low on both fuel and water. Hopefully, the roads open soon or there will be a lot of food thrown out.

Mother Day Flowers
As fun as the Monster Truck Show was, it was not my Mother's Day Present. The boys gave me some mini roses. Mark also brought me stale Cheerios for breakfast in bed; and like a good mother I ate them all. I spent the day doing laundry, groceries, dishes, etc. while Roy and Ryan played Crusaders on the computer for about 6 hours straight. Roy did BBQ steaks for supper and they were the best we've had in a while. Ryan did the dishes (if loading the dishwasher counts). So, all in all it was a good day! - Posted by Carol

Our Great Day
We had a great day. We started on The Gold Coast. We spent the night there. We then went to Movie World and got on a few roller coasters. The 1st one is the Scooby Doo Coaster. The other one is the Log Ride. We went on a few others as well. We then went home and got changed and went to the monster truck and firework show. We had to make sure and grab our sweaters because it was a bone chilling 20 degrees. The monster trucks were cool but I think my favorite part was the jet vans and fireworks. I wish my photos came out better. I couldn't find a good setting for the camera in the low light. I tried everyone but they still all come out blury. I think I can honestly say this was the best Mothers Day Ever....hehe.....Carol said she had fun as well

My last day on the Island.
Ok.......I know I said I wouldn't post any more photos of Lady Eliiot but somebody just E-mailed me these ones. I really like them. The guy that took them worked on the island and he sure could hold his breath. He would be down 20 feet and just stay there. I'd go down to scratch the turtle and then have to come up for air. I'd go down again and he'd still be there.

Golfing in Toowoomba
Some photos of me golfing in Toowoomba.
Our family is pretty excited today. We just booked a 9 day cruise to New Caledonia & Vanuatu. It is going to be a Christmas cruise. We are leaving on Dec 18 and getting back on Dec 27. The ship is The Pacific Sun. There are heaps of kids activities. Arcades, arts and crafts, waterslides and lots more. Anyways, it should be a blast.

Can anybody guess where this sunrise is from.
Watching hockey in Australia is way different then watching it in Canada. Yesterday I watched The Ducks elimenate Vancouver. It wasn't live so I was careful not to go on any Canadian website in case the results were there. Anyways, they didn't show the 1st OT period at all. I turned my head and I hear he scores. I looked back at the TV to see who won and to see the replay. No replay. Just credits. I had to look on the internet to see who won......grrrrrrrrr
It is funny over here and their sportscasts. A lot of sports they show are not live. You'll watch a sport like tennis or rugby. Half way through it they'll have a news clip saying who won and to watch the news for the highlights. You'd be sitting there thinking....hey....Thats this game I am watching now.
